In addition to my training and experience as a Lawyer and in the legal field, I have been extensively trained as a story-teller, and hold a Master of Fine Arts Degree (MFA) in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute (Conservatory established by the American Motion Picture Academy), and taken many supplementary classes. I have studied closely with such writers as Leonardo Berkocovici, Mark Harris, Lew Hunter, Alfred Levitt, Frank Pierson, Mead Roberts, John Shaner, Eugene Vale, and others. I have honed this experience through my many years of work as a reporter and video and television producer.
With this experience I can help you tell your story so that is much more compelling.

In addition to my training at AFI I received training in video production at California Institute of the Arts (a college established by the Walt Disney Studios) and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Institution. I have decades of production experience and have produced literally hundreds of hours of locally produced television in the Northwest. My work has shown at festivals and museums around the world, as well as national networks including the Independent Film Channel, and Free Speech TV. I have taught video production at a college level including Shoreline Community College and Henry Cogswell College. I have served on the Board of the Seattle Cable Access Network television for four years.

We all know that most cases take too long to settle, costing far too much in time and money. I have been extensively trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution, hold a Certificate from University of Washington Law School , and have done Clinical Work in the field, including at Seattle Municipal Court. Additionally I have training in psychology including Graduate Work at the New School for Social Research.
